Home Design Dreams is story driven match-3 puzzle game that let's you design your own rooms. This was my first Match-3 puzzle game, that said, also my first Android and iOS professional project. Working on this game was a great experience for me as a mobile game designer. During the early development phase, the team faced a lot of hurdles with the development like screen resolutions, choosing the right platform to design the levels, quality of the 3D models, over-scoping, etc. As a studio, this was our first big budget project, so we needed to take every step with caution but also make sure we weren't slowing our process. Once we were adjusted to a steady pipeline, the further development was really smooth.
The game is currently live on Android, and iOS stores, and is playable on mostly all the mobile devices. It has a steadily growing user base with currently more than 1 million downloads Responsibilities:
1. Designed 700+ match-3 levels in Unity 2. Designed 60 Rooms in Maya 3. Worked on in-game economy 4. Calculated monetization opportunities 5. Designed events to promote user acquisition and retention 6. Added flavors to the game by writing new game stories 7. Designed in-game elements and mechanics |
